Bike Lane Shop was created to meet the cycling needs of Gate City and surrounding areas. What began as a passion for riding has grown into a place where people can find trusted advice, reliable products, and a team that genuinely cares about their experience.

Cycling became a true passion for me as I stepped into semi-retirement and a new season of life. Around that same time, my wife Misty and I became empty nesters, and we found ourselves looking for a new adventure—something that would keep us active, healthy, and connected.

That’s where Bike Lane began. Cycling played a huge role in helping me get healthier, both physically and mentally, and it quickly became something we wanted to share with others. Misty stepped into the journey alongside me, and together we saw an opportunity to build something meaningful.

With the help of our incredible team, Bike Lane has become more than a bike shop. It’s a community built on movement, kindness, and connection. We believe bikes can change lives, outdoor time makes people better, and great communities are built one ride at a time.
